East Meets West China Bistro, or “China Bistro” as our
customers call it, has been in business since 1999, but its owners Jason and
Eileen Teng have been in the restaurant business for 20 years and have used
their experience to bring customers an unparalleled dining experience. We serve
Mandarin cuisine from the Sichuan province in China with our own special flair
to create a menu filled with epicurean delight for distinguishing pallets and
newcomers alike. Jason and Eileen have applied their strict standards to the
restaurant, making sure that every diner receives a meal that they would enjoy
themselves, and it begins when you first step into the restaurant.
The kitchen only uses white meat for chicken on all
dishes, the fryer changes its vegetable oil daily, forbids the use of MSG, and
makes brown rice available on request. Every facet of the restaurant—the
service, the atmosphere, the food, and the facilities—is prepared to maximize
the pleasure and enjoyment of the dining experience. Our accolades—including
2000 Best New Restaurant and a nomination for the California Restaurant
Association’s Best of the Valley: Best Asian Restaurant 2007—have proven that
our methods are working for our philosophy, but we hope you come in and enjoy
our food and restaurant and discover what we are about in person.
